Looking for a different type of sweet for Valentine’s Day? Try these healthy sweet treats!
Ingredients
- 6 Whole Medjool dates
- 1 head Quarter Moon Farm Black Garlic
- 2 oz. dark or milk chocolate (dark is healthier)
Directions
- Make a slit lengthwise in each date and remove pit.
- Peel black garlic cloves.
- Place one clove into each date; gently press date together again.
- Melt chocolate in microwave or over double boiler.
- Roll each date in chocolate and place on waxed paper to cool.
If you’re looking for a fun appetizer, omit the chocolate. Then wrap each black-garlic stuffed date with a cooked strip of bacon, securing it to the date with a toothpick.
