Mashed potatoes are a hit no matter what the season. Here is a recipe brought to us by Adam Kling that can be cooked in a smoker alongside your favorite meat.
Ingredients
- Several large potatoes
- One stick butter (preferably Kerry Irish Gold unsalted)
- Rounded cereal spoon of mayonnaise
- 3 egg yolks
- Vik’s Garlic Fix! Spice Blend, to taste
- Quarter Moon Farm Black Garlic, to taste
Directions
- Boil and mash potatoes.
- Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon into 9″x9″ pyrex pan.
- Put pyrex into smoker with meat and smoke for at least 4 hours at 180 degrees.
- Turn temperature up to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 50-60 minutes.
Mashed potatoes cooked like this are worth the wait!
