Get ready for a mouthwatering delight! Pulled pork is heightened to a totally new elevation with this black garlic & sea salt rub.
Ingredients (Rub)
- One jar of Quarter Moon’s Black Garlic & Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients above to make the rub.
- Score a 4-5 pound pork roast into 1 inch squares, about 1 inch deep.
- Pack the rub onto the pork and let sit for two hours.
- Bake at 225° for eight hours in a clay cooker or something equivalent.
- When done, pull pork apart with two forks, being careful to save the juice.
- Thicken juice with a tablespoon of cornstarch or flour dissolved in a little water to make a gravy.
- Drizzle gravy over the pork.
Serve pulled pork in sandwiches on soft buns. Keep your eyes on it, or it’s guaranteed to disappear from your table before you know it!
