This appetizer is a snap to make and so satisfying! It brings out the sweet in the black garlic in a wonderful taste sensation.
Ingredients
6 oz. or 1 cup dried apricots
- Mascarpone cheese (8 oz. container is more than enough)
- 1 head black garlic
Note: Organic apricots are not treated with sulphur, thus they turn brown – this is perfectly natural!
Directions
- Spread Mascarpone cheese on top of each dried apricot with a butter knife.
- Place apricots on platter.
- Slice each clove black garlic into 2 or 3 smaller pieces, slicing lengthwise.
- Place a slice of black garlic atop cheese on each apricot, pressing in gently.
