Recipe: Black Garlic Hummus

Once you’ve had Black Garlic Hummus, you won’t go back to what you’ve had before! Guaranteed to be a standard, this Hummus is so tasty that you’ll always want to keep some in your refrigerator. Couple with veggies, crackers, pita, or whatever your favorite foundation is for a magnificent spread!

Ingredients

  • recipe-black-garlic-hummus2 cans of chickpeas
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sesame tahini or to your liking
  • Red pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Blend well adding 1/4 cup ice cold water.
  2. Slightly blend in 1/2 to three-quarter cup of black garlic.

To give your hummus some extra zip, decorate edges with homemade or store bought salsa. Put a few cloves of black garlic in the middle Enjoy!
